Some of you Mankeys may have met Basel at the Basingstoke event, he is a man of many modes of transport, photos below show him with his very large ploughing engine powered by a 1940s Mercedes diesel engine. Title: Re: Bill Target memorial steam event Winchester 22.5.11 Post by: Manky Monkey on May 27, 2011, 06:00:25 PM Isn't that in a field beside the A31, between Guildford & Winchester Rick? I think I passed it a week or so ago when they were setting it up. As you say, usually in a different field a bit further up the road towards Guildford. I always pass it on my way to the Victory Wheelers show at Hayling Island & think I'll do it instead one year. This year I ended up doing neither. :(
