Post by: morrag on May 13, 2011, 07:02:40 PM
Any have any idea what viscosity oil is used in a Scott oiler, I know the genuine oil is available from the makers, but....... anyway, anyone used an alternative that is satisfactory?,,,,, Morrag

If you want the pleasent aroma, the old oil from the fat fryer would prob be better used to fuel the immensely powerful Royal Enfield Diesel ! (but you'd have to get one first  ;))

ps - a few drops of castrol R in the fuel tank of an old bike (with carb) can smelll sooooooo good, but you have to be following............

No, no, not mine at all, just did a web search for Diesel Enfields as knew they existed (tho only ever seen about 3).

They're relatively new, at a guess within the last 10/15 years???
