Yes that Irish Paul, I bought a piggy engine from him last year, he has been to at least one of our meets in Chesterfield as well. There is also Smiffy, he goes under the name BSA on btw forum though, he is in Buxton.

How soon do you have to deliver the axle cos I need to get over to Hightowers fairly soon, could bring it back with me? Winterton didn't look that big when I was last there so you must be somewhere close to him :)

TrUs, Caz said she wanted to go so I booked Friday off work, once again she forgot and didn't book time off and was on call all weekend. Ended up not too good myself so maybe a good job I didn't go, woke up this morning feeling fine ready to go back to work :(

Im going to be there Mike , hopefully the weather will hold out . if you havent been before its well worth a look just to see that many bikes trikes scooters etc. all in one place, literally thousands. Billed as the biggest bike night in Europe.

just tested n taxed my cruiser to go up on cos got bird on back[cant carry her gear on the bandit]. stopping in digs so we can stop over for the bands  a few of the pubs put on n a pot or 10. setting off bout 3pm from wakey, meeting our kid on route. looks like it could be a wet one tho.
like to meet if any one still making it.

forgot camera but bro had one i'll hijack some pics from him. All in all a good night, weather held ,and a decent turnout .seemed a little bit down on other years but probably down to the the weather forecast. Nice to meet up with spanners.

,was a decent evening. didnt know what planet i was on by 2am ,judgeing by the happy chicken shack carrier slung in the corner of the digs this morning i had a well balanced healthy snack at the end of the evening. saw some good bands tho. seemed odd this morning when mine was the only bike sat in the carpark chained to a phone box...sat on pavement [head in hands] waiting for our lass to get her act together, a guy came by shook his head n asked if i wanted to join him for a hair of the dog. pretty much hit rock bottom there..... pubs were busy eh spanners.

 i met up with rob62 after i left you dobber and it turned out the wheatsheaf was his local  so it was problem solved if you hung on tight to youre glass as they ran out of vessals to serve beer in ::)

Looks a very friendly event and a real spectrum of bike styles.

Bugger, forgot all about this thread. I went and took a camera but it was that busy I never took any pictures. Brilliant night it was, will be going next year and will try and remember to meet someone. Don't believe I didn't notice any MM shirts or caps. Whoever took the pics just got me in the background on 54 as well
