Title: Damn CATS!! Post by: voodoo on February 04, 2011, 10:53:10 PM Just spent half an hour or so trying to catch a bloody mouse the cats had decided to bring in and let go in the lounge...its very hard to hold a sofa up with one hand and try and drag a cat out from under it as its decided it would be a good time to dive under and try and get the mouse....two cats and I ended up catching it myself sheesh!...Voodoo....

The other one just sits on a chair, watches the mouse run past and says 'I wish that mouse would slow down, it's making me feel tired' and goes to sleep. But I have a secret weapon! A box with a 'door' cut in it - I bait with a piece of biscuit (mice can't resist malted milk) and leave it near where the mouse was last seen - with a heavy weight on it so the cats can't move it! Check the next day and there's usually a bright-eyed pointy face peering out at me! Title: Re: Damn CATS!! She zaps them with an electric mouse trap then drops them in a bucket of water to make sure they're deaded. Several times I've left for work in the early hours to frind frozen miceicles in the bucket.
