Post by: Chevy Rick on January 01, 2011, 09:08:48 PM
Just a few photos of todays event on Bournmouth sea front that takes place from 11am to 2pm, well patronised by Classic Brit and American motors with many sight seeing the event.

Has that dog got a slot in his head, like a money box?
Nice motors Rick. Like the beach hut backdrop too.

A stunning motor car!

Think its a circa 1935 Cord Speedster (poss a 'Boattail??).

courtesy of Wikipedia - Cord was the brand name, manufactured by the Auburn Automobile Company from 1929 through 1932 and again in 1936 and 1937.

Spot on Tony, I had the opportunity some thirty years ago to drive a Cord identical to this one, it might even have been the same car so a head of its time, supercharged sheer nostalgia  ;D
