Title: Rear Fog Light
Post by: Watsonic on December 03, 2010, 05:10:17 PM
Another question that's probably been asked a million times...

Does a Trike require a Rear Fog Light??

Had a look through the MSVA hand book but couldn't find it

Thanks Guy's

hi watsonic, it depends what year the trike is i had a 1980 gs and it dint require one according to my mot tester but i think it only just missed out on requiring one so i think the rule must have come in early 80s

According to the manual (page 67) front and rear fogs are optional

Mirrors must have a minimum reflective area measured using a disk inserted onto the mirror by the tester. Check the SVA manual for exact size. (They don't need to be E markjed

Most important though is the reflective surface must be convex and not flat!
