Title: Rear Fog Light Post by: Watsonic on December 03, 2010, 05:10:17 PM Another question that's probably been asked a million times...
Does a Trike require a Rear Fog Light?? Had a look through the MSVA hand book but couldn't find it Thanks Guy's Title: Re: Rear Fog Light Post by: zakboy on December 03, 2010, 06:08:02 PM hi watsonic, it depends what year the trike is i had a 1980 gs and it dint require one according to my mot tester but i think it only just missed out on requiring one so i think the rule must have come in early 80s
Title: Re: Rear Fog Light Post by: thebigdogsix on December 03, 2010, 06:21:33 PM According to the manual (page 67) front and rear fogs are optional

Title: Re: Rear Fog Light Post by: ByzMax on December 04, 2010, 10:45:15 AM Correct.
Not required but if you have one it must work ;) Title: Re: Rear Fog Light Post by: Watsonic on December 05, 2010, 03:23:44 AM cheers guy's.
I've also heard rumour's that 2 mirror's are required is this true? Title: Re: Rear Fog Light Post by: terry t on December 05, 2010, 02:10:44 PM yes two are required.they have to be a certain size or e marked
its in the MSVA hand book.(index mirrors) Title: Re: Rear Fog Light Post by: ByzMax on December 07, 2010, 09:00:07 AM Mirrors must have a minimum reflective area measured using a disk inserted onto the mirror by the tester. Check the SVA manual for exact size. (They don't need to be E markjed
Most important though is the reflective surface must be convex and not flat! Title: Re: Rear Fog Light Post by: terry t on December 07, 2010, 09:57:38 AM Hi ByzMax. thats right.but if they are E marked the tester will not have to measure it.page two of the msva manual. terry
