Title: one for kapri Post by: cunningplan on November 16, 2010, 09:34:49 PM Just looking through CC and came on the article about bivr (Or whatever its called)
How come they had to remover the side repeaters from the A pillar to the wing on the B and yet the pickup had modern mirrors with the repeaters fitted it like a lot of new cars?? Title: Re: one for kapri Post by: Manky Monkey on November 16, 2010, 10:48:54 PM Presumably the pick-up went through the same commercial vehicle version of the test we're aiming to put my Pop through Tony. Has to have side repeaters, but I don't think there's any stipulation on exactly where they go.

Angles of visibility!! Title: Re: one for kapri Post by: kapri on November 18, 2010, 09:22:15 AM The door handle got in the way of seeing the side repeater at certain 'angles of visibility'.
There is a stipulation on where the side repeaters go but they are not tested on the Goods test but they need to be there for road use under C&U. Title: Re: one for kapri Post by: cunningplan on November 18, 2010, 07:32:48 PM Cheers Kev
