Title: rear axle Post by: Al on November 09, 2010, 02:30:15 PM hi everyone looking for advice iv got three axles but two of them are the same size and the other is smaller i was going to use the smaller one so was going to strip that one done to get hubs turned down but was wondering anyone know what axle it is from it is reliant but unsure what one also where can i get new bearings and oil seals
another question was has anyone changed the studs so that it would allow the wheel to be bolted with a bolt rather than a nut as unsure if the hub is thick enough for this to be done anyhelp gratefully received thanks al Title: Re: rear axle Post by: Manky Monkey on November 09, 2010, 09:04:12 PM Can you post some piccies of your mystery axles Siral.

Title: Re: rear axle Post by: Brant on December 14, 2010, 11:12:16 AM my dad asked me to upload these a while ago but just got round to it as he's in hospital, http://i54.tinypic.com/5eu4af.jpg http://i55.tinypic.com/10ril1e.jpg http://i53.tinypic.com/dczrj9.jpg http://i56.tinypic.com/166hv7s.jpg thanks in advance I'd be wary of http://i55.tinypic.com/10ril1e.jpg!!! The half shaft tube seems to have been welded at some time and it's not concentric. Any welder happy with such work should not be trusted and the axle is suspect.
