Title: Re: My Trike build-or not Post by: hunter on September 25, 2010, 07:31:00 PM yes,a mate owns the company,
and my nephew works there. Title: Re: My Trike build-or not Post by: Manky Monkey on September 25, 2010, 10:18:31 PM That's interesting. Often seen that finish on new parts but didn't know anyone did it as a service. What's the coating exactly?
Title: Re: My Trike build-or not Post by: hunter on September 25, 2010, 10:46:54 PM It's zinc, and i think it's called yellow zinc,
the callipers in the pics are brand new and the Finnish on them is also zinc but it's called clear. I had them done in yellow because the yellow seems to be more rust resistance. Title: Re: My Trike build-or not Post by: Manky Monkey on September 25, 2010, 10:56:37 PM With the right coloured paintjob, that could make a really interesting finish on a bike. A trike done in various metal finishes, rather than paint would look cool.
