Title: Re: which to go to Post by: renegade53 on May 17, 2010, 07:28:57 PM just found out the museum is only open on saturdays. did get a reply, they did contact the other site to remove them a year ago. on the way back approaching guildford coming the other way was an aston martin in satin/matt black. now that has really put me off going for satin/matt black. joined the a3 at guildford on the way back and got some looks from some boy racers in a lime green boom boom eurobox with a b+w checkered roof. just went out to the fast lane and went. she does pull well for bog standard old motor in top and overdrive. it was showing 3000 rpm at 110 mph but i reckon the speedo is about 10 per cent high reading.
a mate went to aston clinton yesterday archie said there was a split window van with a mid mounted viper engine. oh and a really ratty van. he's going send me the pics so 'ill see about post 'em here. hang on he's on here so why not post 'em himself. Title: Re: which to go to Post by: Archie on May 17, 2010, 08:13:00 PM Yeah there was. It was a blue type 25 crew cab with the v8 in the bed. Was pretty cool and up for sale too, but lots of money. There was also a single split cab on air ride which was cool and the guy who runs nefarious pinstriping in farnborough was there with a stall, striping a car. Turned out pretty cool. There were a few boom dee boom cars there which were annoying - another mk3 golf (what I have) was running body shaking bass all day long and gave me a headache and also drowned out the live band who were really good
