Persuaded my Missus to buy me an early birthday present today, as these were on sale in Aldi for £20-00, nicely made, 1/3 HP and 3K rpm, tidy stone for the grinding of your drills and lathe tools, and a reasonable multipurpose, and multi use! linisher belt, half way tidy for the money, and releases my heavier grinder for a polishing wheel, opposite the wire wheel, so there you go, a result! I got 2 of those hoists from netto in the clearout for £15 each, I keep one over my big lathe for lifting the chucks on and the other in the workshop roof for lifting stuff off the back of my truck...very handy they are too

i got one of those grinders last year and its been great,good value me thinks.

Did you see the cutting discs and flap wheels for angle grinder a couple of weeks back?

Do they sell pedestal drills as well.I could do with one of those,but it needs to be a variable speed version so i can slow it down.

Every one gets it wrong, it was Aldi in Pandy which is shut down, I went to talbot green to get one of the above for brock last week.

Its age, if no ones noticed, I put the link for Lidl and not Aldi's. they both have some very good deals sometimes.

Well, at £20 Chewie, its really not worth the bother, although in the past I have made, and still use many of my bits of workshop equipment,including my bench grinder, but today, imported gear is very inexpensive compared with previous times, so.....spend the time on something useful instead, I know, what about a 'Swedish' style Vee-Dub trike! now there's a thought......................  Morrag
