Hello Tbone, am I reading this right in so far as that if a bike registered before 1st april 1986 is converted to a trike it don't need hazards, or would the date be taken from the 1st MOT as a trike? Sorry if I seem a bit stoopid, it's not intentional, it just happens!!!!
Regards
K

Hiya K, how you doin?  ;D
Obviously if the conversion required an MSVA then hazards would be needed, cos you have to comply with current regs.
If we are talking bolt on conversion, you still need the wheelplan changed on the V5C, i`ve not done one since the change in regs, but i`d say that if they record the date of the wheelplan change, then yes, hazards would be needed, because again, the new wheelplan change would have to meet with current build regs. Just my thoughts on the subject though, unless anyone knows different.
