Title: Re: lifes simple pleasures Post by: ROD on December 13, 2009, 07:23:16 AM Corny but....getting up early, and listening to the dawn chorus of birds in the garden.
Title: Re: lifes simple pleasures Post by: Manky Monkey on December 13, 2009, 09:22:10 AM Along similar lines, leaving the cottage to go to work at 5am each morning. In Summer I'm greeted by the rising sun across the woods & the birds already singing. In Winter I get to see the stars against a pitch black sky. After 24 years of working for Royal Mail, I'm still not used to getting up early every day, but I do enjoy being out & about before the rest of the World wakes up & buggers up the day. :)
