Title: Re: Front Tyre Post by: Hagar on December 05, 2009, 11:41:18 PM Evening , thanks for the replies .... not had time to check the tyre today but the manual says the size is 100/90 19 57H .... would the " Avon Sidecar Triple Duty AM7 3.50-19 57L " fit the rim ?
Also what do the numbers and letters mean on the tyres ? I take it that the 19 is the size but the 100/90 and 3.50 , and the 57H and the 57L ? ... cheers .. Hagar Title: Re: Front Tyre Post by: brock on December 06, 2009, 12:59:07 AM a little information

( The speed rating is the maximum speed that the tyre can withstand for a 10 minute endurance test without it destroying itself and coming to pieces. ( taken from your link ) .. ). Does this mean with a lighter loading the max speed for the tyre goes up before shredding ? ( although with my cheers .. Hagar .. ;D Title: Re: Front Tyre Post by: brock on December 06, 2009, 09:34:40 AM tricky 'aint it. I don't know is the simple answer, I am looking for info on maximum momentry speed and loading for another little project and not finding much of any use, I'm sure it's out there and will persevere
