Title: NSRA Billing Fun Run 4th - 6th June 2010 Post by: Manky Monkey on November 29, 2009, 11:48:46 PM One of the biggest hotrod gatherings of the year, held at the Billing Aquadrome, Northampton, (a large country park with boating lakes), over the first weekend in June. Camping & chalet hire available. Show & Shine on the Sunday. Trade stalls, fun fair, food etc.

Title: Re: NSRA Billing Fun Run 4th - 6th June 2010 Post by: voodoo on June 05, 2010, 06:15:49 PM Well scrap that idea....not going to be able to get there as ive still got a full day of work just getting everything in paint tomorrow.....plus I managed to get my bike home yesterday after a bit of wireing fun (apart from lights and horn going for it bike kept cutting out)...rigged up a basic ignition on it to get home and started to sort it earlier but then got into the paint......oh well fingers crossed i get to something this year lol....Voodoo......

The Premier Inn eh? Ooh, ain't you posh. :) I thought I was the only one here who don't do camping. Yeah, nice to see you today Dave, & many thanks for the flag poles. Taz & I spent some time sat on the M25 this evening on our way home then stopped at Cobham for a pub meal, so not long been home. Our photos online tomorow evening hopefully. Lots of VWs at this year's show, which is a bit of a shame I think -not that I have anything against them, but they have lots of their own shows & tend to turn up en masse at hotrod shows & turn them into V Dub events, (that'll probably upset a couple of people!). Also noticed the predicted new trend for 70s style custom vans seems to be coming true, with lots of slot mag & side piped examples in the campsite. Another great NSRA event. We had a grand day out, chatted to lots of people & took yet more photos. Can't wait till we can arrive in our own custom cars. I got a couple of the guy working on the panel later in the day, as you'll see when I post 'em to yer. chippy micky has a thick plank that he uses as a base beefed up at one end with a hole in it. he puts what looks like a bit from a broomhandle and slides the pole over it. With the car parked on the planky bit it's all held in place.
