I'll be at the Popham bike megameet near Andover, along with the Voodoo family I believe. Taz is working today. S'pose I'd better get organised & get going then. Title: Re: Arbury Hall Classic Car & Transport Show 23rd August Warwickshire Post by: tbone on August 23, 2009, 02:47:51 PM This Model T was gorgeous, owned by a very nice guy that was more than willing to tell me all about her. Note the original headlamps, converted to take a bulb, and the gearing on the wheel.....its the speedo drive, an optional extra back when this was new.

Title: Re: Arbury Hall Classic Car & Transport Show 23rd August Warwickshire Post by: Manky Monkey on August 23, 2009, 03:24:44 PM I don't think speed had been invented when that was built had it. ;D
I'm not very clued up on older pick ups. Not a Model A is it, early Chevy? I've seen that one in the magazines but not yet in the flesh. Steel or fibreglass? Looks like the Family TBone had a good day out then. Yeah i thought Model A too, no information board about it, hence my question. Standard left hand drive, all steel as far i could tell. The day was good, the website says the show hasn`t been held for 4 years, so didn`t really know what to expect. The car clubs were really out in force, and there was a reasonable turnout of traders too although sadly, the motorcycle clubs were obviously busy elsewhere or just hadn`t been invited as we only saw half a dozen `show` bikes. Title: Re: Arbury Hall Classic Car & Transport Show 23rd August Warwickshire Post by: tbone on August 23, 2009, 07:51:58 PM It was the `squareness` of the cab that led me to think A, but i`ll bow to anyones expertise on it ;).
This was a shiney cobra. Title: Re: Arbury Hall Classic Car & Transport Show 23rd August Warwickshire Post by: tbone on August 23, 2009, 07:54:10 PM Nice colour for a charger ;D
