Not one I attend..but have a good weekend......Voodoo....

Used to camp there every year many moons ago, but haven't been for a few years now. Must admit I prefer smaller shows to the big festival type events, but please say a Manky hello to any & all Brit chopperers from us please.  :)

Great event and not long got back, meet Yoda in the staging lanes yesterday, saw him a few times next to the armco of the track, but until I saw his name on his arm was not sure if it was him or not, nice bloke.
It was hard work and I was completely knackered last night but made a effort to see Motorhead, watched them for about a hour and went back to the van.

Didn't know you were going. Hope you said Hi to Mr Yodles from all of us here, (Yoda's the webby super hero who originally set up this 'ere site for me -it's all his fault).

Saw a lot of bikes heading along the M5 today, rekon they were heading home from this one.

Myself and Mrs Byzmax went along with our two boys.

What a weekend.

Had a good chat or two with Steve Redd.

Have not laughed so much for a while and had a fab time.

Great Value for money and despite Mr Plod's efforts to make it difficult for those attending (and for the locals) it seemed to go off without a hitch.

I love the Bulldog as you can't get bored.

So much to see and do and sooo many people it's great.


Arrived at 2pm on Thursday and left at 2pm Today.

Thursday was wet..... (read a mud bath) but it stopped raining about 6am friday and the Sun was out for the rest of it.

Spent a good deal of time around the Britchopper stand and Bumped into Mr Yoda last night.  ;D What a laugh  ;D ;D ;D ;D My sides are still hurting!!

My boys will never forget it. Thanks  ;D

Drag Strip and stunt shows were awesome as always..

Met Pie and Lisa and perused there lovely machines. Both the Trike and the Chop are lovely. All credit to you both.

Yes it was a work weekend for me, I worked in the track signing on office Friday and if any of you ran your bike/trike down the track Sat & Sunday, I was in the right hand lane on the start line.
Did not see much of the show, time I finished Friday it was shut and when I managed to get there Sat, they were giving out the prizes and the place was packed.

Still a great weekend and I was glad not to see so many police as there was last year.

Got to be honest ive never been to the Bulldog,but I have got to go to a show with a Drag strip once I have got my Z running right, it would be good to give it a run as a road use bike to see just how slow it is compaired to modern bikes lol....Voodoo....

Love the paintwork on pic number 3. Must admit I'm not keen on the style of the big white thing though, which seems to be the fashion with show bikes at the moment. I'm sure it's very clever, but just not my kind of thing. As always, the most interesting stuff for me is usually in the carpark, covered in road grime.

A disc of just over 100 Hangover quality pictures should land on your doorstep in the next day or so. ;D

Totally agree with you on the best stuff being in the car park ... but it was hard to get any pictures of them, as every bike became a washing line as soon as the sun came out on Friday, after the soaking we all got Thursday !!!

The white bike was just sooooo huge - what did slightly impress me was seeing it being ridden home on Sunday.

Nice photos you two. Looking forward to seeing them all as I've never been to the Bulldog before.

Poor Yoda, maybe he should have put skis on the bottom of his wheels then he could have been pulled about.

great picture's i see alot of trikes don't have front or rear mud guards or rear lights. So they can't be road legal can they????

Lots of bikes don't run front muddies either.
Mudguards aren't an MOT requirement. If they're fitted they must catch an "adequate amount of spray". If they're not fitted they can't be tested & therefore can't fail. Last time we tested Flap's orange trike the MOT guy actually went & phoned the Ministry for advice & was told exactly that.
They are needed for the construction & use regulations though, which still govern all road going vehicles. So although your trike/bike can pass the MOT without them, you still run the risk of being pulled & prosecuted for them out on the road. Opinion seems divided over whether it's an endorsable offence or not & although I've never personally heard of anyone being prosecuted, others say they know people who have. A lot of fenderless rods actually carry a simple bolt-on set in the boot, should they run into trouble. Or rain.
You can get a daylight MOT, which obviously only covers you to ride during the hours of daylight. It's really intended for trials bikes & the like, which might travel on the road from one off-road site to the next. Not sure if you still need a brake light or not though. 

thanks for the reply. Also some of the trikes don't have any rear lights at the back or indercators. I also thought your suppose to have intercators at the front on a trike?? sorry for all the question just intrested.

Hi, yep indicators, like mudguards, are a requirement not an option, check Andy`s sticked thread on lighting regs in the trike tech section  ;)

I think Andy, if you have a brake light you must then have a rear light which means you also need a front light  ::) ::) ::) so I think to go "daylight" you mustn't have any form of illumination fitted at all but please don't quote me on that when you've been pulled by the plod  ;D ;D ;D ;D

If your all talking about the MOT side of it, yes you can have brake lights and not side lights, also its the same with indicators, all it says is
"Stop lamps are not a legal requirement if the vehicle is fitted with neither front nor rear position lamps etc. (see 1.1),"
"Direction indicators and hazard warning devices are not required by regulations on vehicles not fitted with any front or rear position lamps (see1.1)"
if they are fitted, they have to work.
