Will you be going to this? Think that's the same weekend as Brock's drag racing and we'll be there instead. Shame as it's not far from where we live.

My big brother Brock's debuting his new drag race car next weekend & I'm afraid that takes priority for Taz & I, but I'm sure there'll be other Monkeys on hand.  ;) Who's going?

i'm intending to go, its 1 junction for me when i join the m25 at chertsey

We would just join the A3 at the top of our road and that's it. I'll be at the drags on Saturday but Manky might come up after work depending on how bad a morning he's had.

Sorry if we missed you Shaun. Another change of plan meant we didn't make it.
It was Taz's day off but I've been up since 3.30 this morning, commuting to work then trudging round the streets in the searing midday heat, delivering the mail. We've had a major shake-up at work in the last week or so, with all our deliveries being altered. I've gained an extra couple of roads, plus a lot of extra office work to do as well as having to drive a van to convey another Postie out to his delivery.
Finally got back home by mid afternoon, utterly drained. So I've been asleep most of the evening. The Rod & Chop show was only a few miles up from the road from us but I just didn't have the energy to go. Anyone else make it?

Indeed - I'm not sure I've seen Keith since the last Chop n Rod, and I always manage to miss his Breakfast Runs for one reason or another. Top marks for an event which had plenty of chairs and tables and in the shade too!

Saw the Evo at the Krispy Kreme donut rod meet a couple of months ago. Jolly nice.
Will try harder to get there next year -honest.

Was a great show. I enjoyed it when it was at Twickenham but this place is perfect. I hope it grows a bit too.

Spent the day with Panther Shaun. Such a pleasant chap! ;D  Nice to see you too Wizzkit. I have not been getting out much so it was good to see some familiar faces.

Also Bumped into Mr Yoda. He seemed very chipper....  ;D

In fact met lots of very nice people and did not want to leave....... ::)


Might even camp next year..... Ok you get the idea that i liked it...... I'll shut up now  ::)


 

Yeah, perfect venue. 8) Amazing that a pub can have that much land... :o I'll definitely consider camping next year if it's at the same place. I had to leave earlyish this year so didn't see who won the prizes :(
