Title: Desperate's new chop. Post by: Manky Monkey on February 03, 2006, 04:04:34 PM Chris emailed me a couple of shots of the first mock-up of his new Indian project, (using the motor from the bike in the video clips he sent in recently). I've seen some photos of the kind of look Chris is going for & it's pretty radical -certainly not a shop bought, bolt together machine.
Looking forward to watching this one progress. Thanks Chris. Title: Re: Desperate's new chop. Post by: Urban Terrorist on February 03, 2006, 07:22:49 PM Don't you just hate these gits that can do these sort of things? ;D ;D ;D

Looking f*ckin' good tho............................ Title: Re: Desperate's new chop. Post by: Manky Monkey on February 06, 2006, 10:59:48 AM You don't think steel would make a better frame than plywood then Chris?
Title: Re: Desperate's new chop. Post by: Desperate on February 06, 2006, 11:21:08 PM Seemed a bit more commonsense to mock it up in wood than metal. All the major car manufacturers do thier bodies in wood and clay. And the bench is rock-solid!

How you going to produce that sculpted down tube set-up? Cast it in ally or cut it from steel plate? |
