Post by: tony b on April 23, 2009, 08:35:43 AM
help, ive just got my step dads ninja,it ran spot on,excellerating through all the gears very smoothly, and it went like heck, then he had it serviced and now, when it reaches 60-70MOHits as if its running out of fuel,it seems to be choking itself
ive been tolds it could be fuel starvation or the wrong plugs
can anyone else give thier oppinion please,
i will try anything as this bike is now up for sale with 12 months mot and i need to get it done before it goes,
cheers peeps

i will check the fuel lines in the morning,
i noticed today ,when i picked it up from mot,
if i thrash it up to speed it suffers with the aforementioned problem, but if i slowly wind it up to speed it doesnt seem to have this problem,
any ideas.

That sounds to me like a carbuation problem, had exactly that with my GT550 but it seems to have mostly cured itself!
