We've seen it before. Spose it'd be interesting to anyone who knows nothing about them.

Jim Turnbull bust the front axle on his red & gold roadster at the Hotrod Hayride last year, when he stuffed it into the armco barrier on the dirt oval.

One of my favouritest Pops. Now in bare metal finish, but I think I preferred it in this green.

Has that been stretched or does it just look long cos it's been lowered?  The body I mean, I can see the wheels are forward of where they would have been.

Don't think it's been stretched just squashed

Roof-chopped a little lower than mine, (mine's 3", that looks more like 4"), & the front axle pushed further forward to a similar position to mine. Maybe the body channelled over the chassis too, (original height chassis with the body lowered further over it), but otherwise standard Bobbi.

Some lovely touches in the build. Nice attention to detail on parts like the steering column mount. A deceptively simple looking car -takes a hell of a lot of work to make it look that easy.

i don't know how russ made it look so simple, there was a great write up about it in nsra street gasser beggining of year.

Shows you don't need huge amounts of cash or mega workshop facilities to put together a great looking car.
