Title: Insulation Post by: Borgy on January 11, 2006, 03:12:39 AM I'm having the back of the van panelled out this week but wanted to put some sort of insulation behind the boards. Any recommendations for something that will work and wont break the bank ?

Probably a good idea to seal it in with a sheet of plastic before boarding over it to stop dust creeping into the van interior. You'd be suprised how much flex there is in a van body. Try & leave some"flex room" at top & bottom of the side panels to stop squeeking & knocking & possible splitting of the boards. Steve reads this forum but never posts -I'll check with him for his recommendations, (he's a professional carpenter & joiner by trade).
