Monxton is an attractive small village situated approximately three miles South West of Andover and we have a Flower Festival every five or ten years, the last one was in 1999. The Aim of these Festivals is to raise funds for the village Church, which is in need of repair, and for the Kingfisher Ward at Andover's War Memorial Hospital. The Kingfisher Ward specialises in essential rehabilitation work but is underfunded and needs help. On Sunday 21 June between 11.00 and 5pm we are planning a classic car show, which will be held in a paddock at the centre of the village. We believe such a show will be of wide interest and great attraction that it will encourage more people to visit the Festival. We expect to be able to accommodate between 50 and 60 vehicles and have promises so far of 11. We would delighted if you and your friends could agree to bring interesting cars to this event and we will be very glad to welcome you to Monxton. We are able to offer those who attend with a classic car a buffet lunch in the garden of Monxton Manor.
