Title: Re: Ploppies Post by: Manky Monkey on November 10, 2008, 03:37:08 PM Do they sell 'em at Sainsburys now? Looks like you've filled your shopping trolley with puppies -buy one, get one free?
Title: Re: Ploppies Post by: reliantman on November 10, 2008, 07:21:01 PM We are fattening them up for a Christmas curry.
Title: Re: Ploppies Post by: Manky Monkey on November 10, 2008, 08:21:02 PM Remember a ploppy is for Boxing Day, not just for Christmas.
Title: Re: Ploppies Post by: TwistedPatience on November 15, 2008, 12:48:10 AM I want one (just not allowed at the moment)
Title: Re: Ploppies Post by: Manky Monkey on November 15, 2008, 08:06:44 PM We'd love a chocolate labrador, (milk chocolate, not plain), but it just wouldn't be fair on the ploppy cos we're out so often. :(
Title: Re: Ploppies Post by: BikerGran on November 17, 2008, 11:44:42 PM I'd love a ploppy but they grow up! Can't do doggy walking, not the serious walking a proper dog-sized dog would need - and I don't think the cats would like us to have a terrier!
Title: Re: Ploppies Post by: Manky Monkey on November 17, 2008, 11:54:37 PM Maybe you should take the cats for a walk?
Title: Re: Ploppies Post by: brock on November 18, 2008, 12:29:32 AM I watched a guy walking his cats down by the river last week, both on leads, very strange colouring like miniature leopards but a bit more beige, the cats not him.
Title: Re: Ploppies Post by: BikerGran on November 18, 2008, 12:50:44 AM Sound like Bengal cats - they're a relatively new breed and the only reason I know about them is because my neighbour has one and all the other cat owners round here HATE it cos it attacks our cats - it was bred partly from the Asian Leopard Cat and the wild ancestry is very close to the surface!
Title: Re: Ploppies Post by: reliantman on November 20, 2008, 02:52:22 PM Six weeks old now and eating everything in sight. There are seven in there now as one of our neighbours got a four week old pup, and it needed mothering. It is supposed to be a staff, but we looked it up and it is a ridgeback. Thats going to be a surprise.
Title: Re: Ploppies Post by: tazet on November 20, 2008, 07:45:04 PM They are sooo cute. Wish I could have one but like Manky said we just don't have the time at the moment and probably wont have for the next year or so.
Title: Re: Ploppies Post by: Manky Monkey on November 21, 2008, 12:22:51 AM Give or take 20 years. :(
Title: Re: Ploppies Post by: reliantman on November 21, 2008, 07:02:07 AM I could put one in the post for you.
