Title: uj for ZL600
Post by: danbow on November 04, 2008, 11:36:56 PM
Hi all,

I am using a reliant axle to trike my Kawasaki ZL600. The universal joint in the prop is too wide to fit in the existing hole in the swinging arm off the bike. does anyone know of a prop or uj assembly that has a smaller diameter.

Ta

Why not join the safts, ie bike shaft to Reliant shaft - like this

Hi Dan. Welcome to the site mate.  ;D
Young Bobbi's right, that's the easiest way to do it.

Thanks for that, and the welcome.  I can't just join them together as I want to keep the reliant diff central so need a uj at either end of the prop shaft. I want to keep the diff central as I DON'T want to start shortening half shafts.

I would have thought it would waste a lot of power to have 2 UJs - and how are you going to fit them in?
