Title: Rear arches Post by: Watsonic on November 03, 2008, 06:13:08 PM Hi guys (Me again)
After such an excelant responce to my rear brake problems I thought I might try for some help on my rear arches. My hand cut and shaped steel arches are OK buy some nice gel coat fibre glass like used on a Locost or Cateram would look better. But How do I attach the Fibre glass arch to a steel arch support with out drilling the arch and spoiling the profile ? All suggestions appreciated.. Title: Re: Rear arches Post by: tbone on November 03, 2008, 06:57:14 PM You have them custom made with the nut, or whatever fixing you choose, pre moulded into the arch.
Rumour has it that there is a very nice man that can mould just about anything from fiberglass, right on this very forum! ;) Title: Re: Rear arches Post by: tazet on November 03, 2008, 07:00:50 PM Yes Madron is the man for that job ;D

I'm keeping my options open at this stage. Title: Re: Rear arches Post by: Manky Monkey on November 07, 2008, 07:59:46 PM Madron actually produces guards & other panels for a kit car manufacturer, among other things, so can knock out 'glass products with the best of 'em. If it's fibreglass you want, you won't find better, plus you can have them custom built to your own specs.
