O.K, still waiting on the third shirt sample but it'll be ready soon. Janie-Postie has asked if they'll be done in time for Christmas, so maybe I should try & organise a short run for now, then run off some to keep in stock once the festivities are out of the way.
So with that in mind, can I have some idea of numbers & sizes please. The piccies & prices are listed in other threads here abouts but I WILL take some decent shots & get Yodie to knock up a Merchandise page as soon as poss. The prices are as low as I can get them. No profit at all, just passing on the price I get charged for them. Don't know what the postage is on a couple of shirts but would imagine no more than a couple of quid maximum. Will check & let you know.
So. I'll start the list off then.
A large of all 3 designs for me, (no, I don't get mine for free!).
A small black T & 2 large work shirts for Janie-Postie.
Anyone else? Go on, buy your loved ones one for Christmas! ;D

Tan T shirts, (Army desert sand colour), with black outline print. Website address on right sleeve. 6 quid.
Black T shirts with full colour, (red/cream/brown), print. 10 quid.
Short sleeved, button up work shirts, (or bowling shirts as some have described them), black with red/cream logo & website address on front pocket & Manky Monkey Motors in red across the back yoke. Fully embroidered. 20 quid.
The shirt guy says he can also do embroidered sew-on oval patches in red/cream/brown for 3 quid but don't know if we can sort those before Christmas or not. Probably.

If thats the colour you're calling tan - it's not!  Unless the colours on my pooter are way out!  Looks to me like beige................ tan being a reddish brown .........

The printer called it "sand" until he looked it up in his catalogue & it said "tan". Sand is a more accurate description I think. Army gear comes in khaki, which is greenish, & desert or sand, which is this colour.
Borgy, the work shirts have the words Manky Monky Motors embroidered across the back in red with the monkey head in brown & an oval logo on the front as you can see. T shirts have plain backs & oval logos on the front. I've got to collate all my photos into their respective folders again after you retrieved them from my old hard-drive so would have to trawl through the whole lot to find the shirt shots I've posted before. Maybe you can find them quicker -or just run through the old forum threads for them.

No. tried to but it told me my user name was already registered, although I've never visited their site before. Tried my usual passwords & it wouldn't accept any of them so asked them to email it to me. Not recieved anything yet. Yoda's left instructions on the "Toy Run" thread on 100% Biker telling me how to do it via Photoshop so will try that next.

Oh Gawd! Baseball caps?! If you knew how much I've had to badger the printer just to get shirts done... I ordered a couple of shirts from my old bike club about two years ago -still waiting for them. T shirt printers just all seem to be very slow for some reason. Flap & I did have a couple of caps embroidered at the Berkshire Triumph Owners' show a couple of years back but they weren't our logo, just a Clip Art image with lettering. Think mine's hanging in my garage. Wouldn't be a problem if there was enough demand for them. The printer does all sorts of promotional gear. I've seen him embroidering everything from "hoody" sweatshirts to rally drivers' race suits. He's already said he can do oval embroidered patches so if he couldn't embroider direct onto a cap we could sell you a patch to sew on yourself -well, not sew on yourself. That would be quite painful. To sew on your own cap.

Flap & I seem to have gained a bit of a reputation as compulsive cake consumers. Not entirely untrue but we're not THAT obsessive. When we're working in the garage tomorrow we'll be stopping at mid-day for a chip break. :D

As in chocolate chip muffins?

To be honest I really don't need ANY T shirts, I've been buying them at every event for yonks and I have loads of bikey/logo/casual type T's.

I did rather fancy the 'tan' one but it turned out to be beige and I am NOT a beige person!

Beige!. How dare you Madam! Beige is for Austin Allegros & Morris Marinas. This is ruffty tuffty army desert camo sand! Printer guy says he can print the black outline design on any colour T shirt. No minimum order so could in theory offer a whole range of colour options. Don't want to make things over complicated but if you have a passion for a particular colour & nothing else will do it could be done.
There was a guy on the 100% Biker forum the other day advertising white mugs with your own logo printed on for 2 - 3 quid each. Red/oval design? Anyone interested?

Printer is still adamant he can get some sorted before Christmas, (probably midnight, Christmas Eve), so just putting a quick list together of those who definitely know what they want. Will do a more general order after Crimbo -if I can afford it, will keep a few in stock.

Oh N-o-o-o!! No Crimbo beer?!
I used to be a real ale freak -the MCC I bleonged to was affiliated to CAMRA & we used to plan the routes to any rallies we went to with their good pub guide. Stopped drinking & smoking overnight when I was about 20. Was unemployed for a couple of months & just couldn't afford it. Lost the taste for it & never went back to it.
I'm fine matey, thanks. Getting a bit busy up here, both at work & in the garage. Turned down two prospective trike frame customers in the last week. Just haven't got the facilities or the time. Yours will be the last for a while. Taken on too much & none of it's getting the attention it should.
The only mug I've got is a Crimble pressie from Triker Pete from last year. Easy Triker -got a piccie of Fonda & Hopper on trike versions of their bikes on it.

You just got your order in first! I was supposed to be doing one for Taxi Dave from the 100% forum as well but he seems to have disappeared.
Haven't been to the garage today. Work's getting REALLY busy now. A Postman's not the best career choice at this time of year! Got home at lunchtime & just slumped in a heap on the sofa. Haven't moved much since! Got so much to do in the garage though. If I don't push on with it none of us will be on the road in the Spring.
Flap's got Reg the 'leccy guy coming round on Thursday to make a start on wiring his trike up. Can't believe it might soon be up & running. Been two long years of odd Saturday afternoons so far. Can't wait to see it move under it's own steam for the first time!

Nope. T shirt guy has been dragging his feet a bit over the sample for the black T shirt. Still not got it. He's promised me faithfully it'll be done by the morning! I've told him I'll give him the list on Friday, so he'll have a week to do them before Christmas. Hopefully they'll be done in a couple of days & I can get them in the post. Will need some pennies from people at the end of the week once I know for certain he's going to do them. Don't want to take money in then let you lot down.

Black proper shirt's excellent Manky, it's gonna look great with the sleeves taken out an' maybe I'll pop down the road to the bloke you got to do 'em an' get him to embroider a STEViE mechanics patch on the other side from the MM logo on the front -  can't wait for my sand t-shirt. Prolly gonna need anutha sand one tho so as I can cut it up for giggin' in. Great retro look too, I like that   8)

More than welcome to Missy Janie. I've been assured by the printer they'll be done some time tomorrow but I never trust assurances! I'll nip 'em over to you on the bike if you want -or we could meet up at Summer & Gypsy's bike shop here in Basingstoke, (open till 7pm). The red girly T shirt came from their stock & I'd like to show 'em what it looks like printed up before you take it away -may have a retail outlet there for MMMotors merchandise!

You can pop over if you like.  I've got a spare paint brush you can use whilst drinking a cuppa.  I'll leave it up to you.  If you're pushed for time let me know where Gypsy and Summers shop is and I'll make my way over.

Yeah, I just know I'd be the one who puts the paintbrush in the tea & the spoon in the paint! I'll see what time the printer gets things sorted, (he's ordering more shirts today so I'll be stunned if they get delivered by the morning -not Royal Mail obviously!). Stevie had the original sample of the workshirt as a stage shirt cos the colours on the front logo were slightly different from the final version. Next time you're in print in a magazine show report I fully expect you to be wearing it mate!
