Title: Get orf moi land! Post by: Manky Monkey on August 31, 2008, 12:18:58 AM Glanced down the garden earlier this evening to find a cow peering round the corner of the shed at me. That's not right I thought. We've got loads of wildlife in our little slice of Surrey but we definitely don't have any cows. I called to Tanya & we went to investigate. Turned out a herd of some 30 or so cattle had escaped from their field, wandered along the lane & up into our garden. The joys of coun'ry loife.
So there we were rounding 'em all up & herding them back across the meadow. M-o-o-ve along you lot. Hey, I always wanted to be a cowboy! So now we've got a garden full of cow poo. As Shaun said to me, fresh manure for our banana tree, delivered right to our door in the most eco friendly way possible. :P Title: Re: Get orf moi land! My Mrs was feeding them carrots over the fence the other week. Title: Re: Get orf moi land! Post by: tazet on August 31, 2008, 10:30:18 AM ;D We got ponies here but not wandering loose around the estate. In the winter the ponies I look after live in the field at the end of our garden.
