Post by: Mr_G on May 08, 2008, 10:02:47 PM I can not believe it, I actually saw this drive past my place of work in Taunton on Wednesday 06 May. I just happened to be down the bottom of the carpark taking part in our "scrap heap challenge" trying to retrieve 2 parts from an old machine down there and I'm positive that this is what I saw and thought it looked quite cool. ;D

We thought the owner would be freezing driving all that way home in an open cab, but he showed us how hot the floor was. Apparently the controls end up so warm he has to drive by his fingertips. Title: Re: Lowered Landy. Post by: texon on May 09, 2008, 08:30:25 AM well fingertips sound better than the seat of his pants ;D

Not holding our breath, but would be nice. We get a success rate of about 1 in 10 for the people we try & blag write-ups from. Title: Re: Lowered Landy. Post by: The pointy helmet on January 23, 2009, 04:57:02 PM Looks like a motorised skip to me.
For someone with motoring press background I would expect something a notch better. This could be bloody outrageous as a lowrider concept, taken forward. Yeah, it's supposed to be minimalist. It just has the minimal amount done to exist. The powerplants (what's in it?) and space you have to play with let's the imagination run riot. BUT for all the grizzlin', it's a wheeze. Title: Re: Lowered Landy. Post by: Manky Monkey on January 23, 2009, 05:27:06 PM I take it you're not a ratrod fan then?! Less is more & all that.
Title: Re: Lowered Landy. Post by: The pointy helmet on January 23, 2009, 10:35:36 PM Well I am.
I just don't warm to this. I've had a few Landies and chopped some motors about n stripped out as much as you can legally get away with...alrite, I'll concede... It's exciting stuff. |
