Pop pics 1-2 are how it was when I got it.

Pop pics 3-7 is me getting the body off.

Pop pics 8-11 was looking at the chassis and seeing how bad it was. Nothing was welded underneath, the brake servo was only welded on one side -it was bad!! Looked like pigeon doodoo so it had to go.

You can see on pop pic 10 the second body I've bought -the black one.

Pop pics 12-20 Once we had cut the old chassis out, (me cutting and me bruv Madron welding). We did a new k frame chassis with prop loop and new gearbox mount, so chassis now looks sweet.

Got the front center lines on now and just a pic from the rear

First step to getting second body on, just welding body to roll cage.
Its now got to be cut and dropped 8" so all being well no rain tomorrow and body will be on

Weather held off today, so we got the body on. It's channeled by 4" over the chassis rails.

Love it Daza. The combination of full height roof & 4" channel works really well.
The red 'glass bonnet section is the same panels I want to use on my pick-up, though without the big square carb port, (4 barrel Holley?). Is that one of Madron's fibreglass creations?

no it one i picked up , and am filling the hole in if i use it

Ahh. We're going to weld the original steel panels together to form the same shape.

tidy , i would like either two steel wing of a full flip front, seen i front on fleabay but need to sell some stuff first lol

You can really see the body's chanelled over the chassis in those pics can't you. How's it for headroom inside?
Although mine's a pick-up, the seating position will be roughly the same. How much legroom have you got? Does the bulkhead sit directly under the dash or is there a footwell of sorts?
I see you've got a rollcage. Make it yourself? Is it fixed to the body to keep it's shape, (so it lifts off the chassis with the body), or does the body drop over it as a proper roll cage?
I'm planning on modifying an old Reliant pedal box for my Rover auto -small pedals to fit in the limited space available, plus I just happened to have a set in my garage. We'll have another set from Taz's spare Reliant, "Moo", when we break it up for spares in a couple of weeks time, if they're any use to you.

well as you can see in the pics i am sat more in the back like on most pops and yes the bulkhead is strait down from the dash , leg room not bad but have the option of moving seats even more and make it more off a  two seater. the roll cage is welded to the chassis and the body and with the 4 inch channel it like having a roof chop same head room, the roll cage was half made but me and madron have and will mod more


and anything you not going to use or bin , DON'T lol me and madron will make use of most things lol lol

I've got a 3 inch chop in mine but the seats will be almost on the floor.
Told you mate, bung the Pop on a trailer, bring it down to the Basingstoke show, then take home as much junk valuable Ford parts as you can carry. ;)
