Title: Long and winding road.....
Post by: BikerGran on February 23, 2008, 11:14:56 PM
Photos from Lucy and Simon's blog.  The road sign would have been enough to put me off!

They are indeed - been out there about 4 weeks now, getting to know the area, both covered in bruises from crashing their snowboards!

Just had a lovely long email from Lucy - don't get them very often cos they have problems getting on the net and it's very slow.  Wifi is very poor apparently (cos of the mountains?) and even when they plug in their laptops at an internet cafe it's not good.  Since lots of people on here like to make stuff, they might like to see Simon's home-made Wifi antenna - Clicky (http://www.kiteboard-europe-byvan.co.uk/post/wireless-internet-high-gain-wi-fi-antenna-version-2)

And for the less technical, I'm posting a link to their blog and gallery - I posted it elsewhere and Lucy says they've had loads of hits, I didn't realise so many people would be interested - Campervan blog (http://www.kiteboard-europe-byvan.co.uk/)

Lucy and Simon finally had a day when there was neither too little nor too much wind for snowkiting!
