Title: Snow, snow, thick thick snow. Post by: Manky Monkey on February 13, 2008, 09:47:54 AM Been enjoying the warm sunshine here for the last couple of days?
This is what it's like in Canada at the moment. My sister Louise in Nova Scotia's just sent these photos. A 24 hour snowstorm means all the schools are shut & her hubby, "Baggie", can't work at his construction job. Over here the whole country descends into chaos if we get more than half an inch of slush. Enjoy the sunshine while it lasts! Title: Re: Snow, snow, thick thick snow. Half an inch - down here the mums start thinking about fetching the children home from school if we get a few flakes! Always makes me laff! When I was a kid in Worcestershire, I used to watch by the front window for the snowplough to go through, then I could go out and wait for the bus to get to school!
