It looks kool, but I would think it would get rather hot! Do blowers make alot of heat? They are only two rotors driven by a belt. Anyway, our Vw trike used to boil off the fuel in the float chambers of the carbs when it was stationary before we put a full cooling system on it! Better keep it moving then!
Title: Re: i see a prob in the very near future Post by: dracken1 on January 14, 2008, 11:05:22 PM the very process of compressing air heats it up. not so bad if you run on alcohol, but petrol engines will run hotter. i used to use a timed water injector on my 455 pontiac and that was under driven, that is the blower pully was larger than the crank pulley. that blower above is over driven, i think it's all show

I used to run a supercharged VW trike myself, with no cowlings, and it never overheated. Just bear in mind that the standard motor sits under a lid with poor airflow, but on a trike, it's fully air cooled with no obstructions.
