Title: Hello, Im back Post by: flap on January 11, 2008, 05:53:30 PM Hello everyone. I've been computerless for months now, it started when the dog ate the cables on our computer, got new cables then the broadband gave up life. Got a new broadband provider then computer went all slow. That gave me the hump so i got a new laptop, its wireless so no cables for the hungry dog to eat and threw the computer on the scrap pile in the garden. (must go down the tip one day) So I'm back now.

Me also not a postie anymore. Had a show-down with 2 managers and told them to stick their jobs. After washing pots and pans for the army, I now work in the Quality Control department of an aerospace components company. Pity its not the Quality Control department of Cadburys, buy hey, it pays the mortgage, I don't have to take no s!*t no more, and I don't get wet either? I used to have a friend who was on quality control at the Courage brewery in Reading, Berks. He was tee-total. Brock worked in the Rowntrees factory in York many years ago. |
