Yo Tazet, what is the difference between a Donkey ans Ass and a Mule. Yes it is a serious question.
Is'nt a mule a cross between a horse and something or other. I really don't know!
Regards
K

To answer your question...

A mule is the offspring of a male donkey and a female horse. The offspring of a male horse and a female donkey is called a hinny.

Apparently poodles have also been crossed with other breeds to produce the cockapoo (cocker spaniel), spoodle (spaniel), schnoodle (schnauzer), and the yorkiepoo (that one's obvious).

Thanks for that LM, but whats the difference between an ass and a donkey or is it just another name for the same animal?
Have you seen the price of those labradoodles though, it used to be pure blood, pedigree dogs that cost hundreds of pounds, now people are paying it for cross breeds.
They are nice though!!!

According to my reading there is no difference K ass is just another name for a donkey.

Thanks LM, have never been sure. Is'nt Hinny an old northern term for a child. I'm sure I heard it somewhere?

Nothing odd about hairy pigs, all pigs have hair!  One of the things that makes little baby pigs so gorgeous is that their hair is all silky and smooth.

If you've ever seen wild boar in the flesh or on tv, you'll have seen that they are hairier than most pigs - and the pigs in the article are just hairier again.

Bit like the difference between the average Friesian (black and white) cow, and the Highland cow.

Talking of crossbreeds, my sister owns a Sprocker!  a springer spaniel crossed with a cocker spaniel.  She has a placid and gentle temperament, but does like to be kept busy!
