That is truly weird, I saw the james bond movie where he ended up in a coffin and was put in the fire at the crem. I would'nt chance goin' in a coffin coz you never know. On with the lid, wallop, wallop and its goodnight Vienna. Bloody hell!!!!

Not so far fetched. One of Basingstoke's few claims to fame -in 1675 the unfortunate Mrs Blunden was buried alive at the Holy Ghost Chapel -not once but twice.

I used to walk past that Catholic cemetery every day on my way to work. Quite spooky at 4.30 in the morning. The lodge house seems to come up for sale regularly. Not somewhere I'd want to live -the cemetery's on a raised bank & the lodge is at street level so the burial ground's level with the lounge. Still, at least the neighbours are quiet -I hope.
