My sister says they're following the cage training method, which is the norm in Canada. Mr Murphy has a plastic container, like the kind of box you'd take your pet to the vets in but bigger. He learns to think of it as his safe space. He sleeps in there, goes in there when he wants some quiet time, (doesn't happen very often!), etc. Being his own area, he doesn't poop in there so learns house training quicker. He's also happy to be left in there when they go out, so he's not destroying the house while they're gone. Title: Re: Canadian lab. Post by: kustom on December 28, 2007, 04:59:33 PM looks a nice dog
