Council man came to pick up some garden waste , and offered me a virago535 for £200, thought about it long and hard (wife was pleased!!!!) and aileen (my better half) said we should go and look at it, coz she likes the virago too, lucky for ME!!!!
Got the bike for 135 delivered, coz it would'nt start, whining noise and engine not turning over, starter clutch, also came with throw over panniers and front and rear bags all in good quality leather.
Will post some pic's for you derision!!! lol Going to get it running etc and ride it while I finish the trikes. Then maybe, Aileen permitting, I'll trike that eventually, or not as the case maybe.
I used to be indecisive, but now i'm not, i don't think!!!

Hi RM, yep a bit good, got to do the starter clutch,headlight and an indicator. Should be okay, but either way a good price.

Hello all, yep I've got the virago home and had the casing off, it seems to me pretty much like the starter clutch. Going to get a puller so that I can whip off the rotor, (what a stupid place to put the starter clutch, right under a piece thats a bugger to get off >:() Bikerpsycho found a repair kit on wemoto for me its around £25 quid, so not too bad, it needs an mot and a half decent paint job, that should be just about it and I'll have it on the road while I finish the virago trike and remodel the mini trike.
Let us know whats happening with the mini trike Bobbi, I'm waiting with bated breath, oh the excitement, the cut and thrust of auctions, the tension, Can I stand it for a few more hours! AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH :D ;D :D ;D ;) ;) ;) :D ;D

I'm currently the high (only) bidder at £600, but the seller said there are about 10 watching so anything could happen.  Finishes about 3 this afternoon.  Just got to decide how high I will go but it won't be anywhere near his buy it now price - I've decided to be philosophical about it - if I get it, fine but if I don't then it wasn't meant to be.  I would need to spend a lot to get it how I want it and that would prolly include replacing the engine/box.
