Title: Twisted Patience Fire!
Post by: TwistedPatience on November 19, 2007, 05:09:37 PM
Had a small problem with a fuel leakage, nothing major until today when the regulator/rectifier decided to short and burst into flames.
Molten plastic dripping on to a fresh pool of petrol.............nice.
So for a week or so she's off the road again.

Could have been worse could have started whilst I was not riding eh!  ;D

Could've been molten plastic dripping onto flesh, also bad. Maybe the ol' girl took offence at your threats to sell her recently mate.

Too Right it could have been really bad had the full tank ignited and I got away with only a few small burns to my fingers, and a large-ish hole in my wallet just waiting for a new petrol tap and she's back an running again.
