With the proposed loss of my early shift allowance & the payment for "door to door" advertising leaflets, my "pay rise" amounts to a pay cut of at least 40 quid a week. The management had much better publicity guys than the union did -we came over as a bunch of greedy Posties demanding more dosh for less work. Very definitely the other way round.
