Post by: hornet6 on October 22, 2007, 08:06:16 PM
manky monkey asked about the show. sos mate i didnt take my camera but to be honest you really need to go there and experience it. get there early cuz theres so much to see. on 1 stand there was a kawasaki kh 1000. yes you read that right, the guy had grafted on another cylinder onto a kh 750 but done in such a way that it looked like it came from the factory like that. the frame was slightly wider at the front and it had 4 stan stephens expandos fitted.

If it's the same one, it's owned by a local guy. He's been to the nearby weekly bike meet at Alton, Hants on it & the crankcases were welded by my mate Keith at BKI Welding in Newbury, Berks.

Alan Millyard - I used to read about his amazing machines when I used to get Motorcycle Mechanics.

He's built a number of them and usually has a new project on Show at Stafford.
