Title: sump Post by: Hillbilly Deluxe on September 23, 2007, 11:08:55 AM anyone know if its a big job taking the sump off a 1.8 cavalier ?just discovered a pinhole in mine and as luck would have it,it's right above the exhaust,only asking cos i'll need to put it into a garage to have it fixed ,as ive got nowhere to do it myself .

I know its a bodge but it wont do any harm if it doesnt work. You may have to drain the oil and jack the car up to get oil away from the hole but ive seen it done before and last for years.
