Title: Manky's Green XS750 Post by: retro900 on September 20, 2007, 11:42:14 PM Manky built this for my sister around 93, not seen any pics here, so here's one.

Yeah, I lived with Retro's sister for a couple of years after I got divorced. She had a full bike licence but hadn't ridden anything bigger than a 125, so after building a his n hers matched pair of XS750 trikes, (you can see hers in the background of that shot), also featured here: http://mankymonkeymotors.co.uk/Trikespageimages/sharon/trike.htm I put the single seater together for her from the spare parts left over. Straight, solid stainless bars with fibre optic warning lights set into them, home made rear sets, hump backed solo seat, short shotgun silencer etc. Sounded great & went suprisingly well. It was deliberately small & lightweight for her, but she didn't like the riding position, preferring my standard XS850, so we ended up doing a swap. I ended up having it powder-coated in grey & rode it for a couple of years before selling it to a local guy. Title: Re: Manky's Green XS750 Post by: Manky Monkey on September 21, 2007, 11:44:19 AM Just remembered- by pure chance, a workmate told me this morning that one of his customers, ("Tiger", a regular at our local weekly bike meet, who's 60 this week I believe -Janie's going to his Birthday party), is selling an XS750 Yam. MOT'd & taxed, "very original", plus another one complete for spares.
3 cylinder shaft drive with plenty of torque so good for triking. If anyone's interested I'll find out his phone number & the price. He lives in Basingstoke, Hants. Title: Re: Manky's Green XS750 Post by: Plainy Janie on September 23, 2007, 08:30:08 AM I've got it. Will PM it to you.
