Title: Lomax 3 wheelers
Post by: panthershaun on September 20, 2007, 10:16:51 AM
Hi all.
well I think we have started something here :-[ a mate of mine who is into cars big time now fancy's building himself a 30's style 3 wheeler ala Morgan but using the cheap reliable 2cv as a base to start from. He wants to build his own body (at least try) but would like to maintain the 2 cv's chassis, so does anyone have access to the plans on how to convert a 4 wheel 2cv into a 3 wheel 2cv???, he has contacted the dealers but they will only sell them as part of the kit.
Hope someone can help.

Cheers
Shaun

Should think he'd do well to contact the 2CV club - they had a stand at the Wessex show with a number of 3-wheelers as well as 4 wheelers, some were Lomax but about half appeared to be one-offs.

Try looking on www.oakes.co.uk/ the site only has stuff about the new blackjack zero, but the avion is the 2cv version. He might be able to contact them for some plans? He also does a neat range of trigger handbrakes here http://www.triggerhandbrakes.com/
