I would just like to say a huge thankyou to Lunatic and Pete who spent the day crewing for us.I'd forgotten how much easier it is with someone else helping me push.Hope you enjoyed being that much closer to the action.Anytime your at the track come and say hi,we can always do with and extra pair of hands. Thanks also for helping us to pack up,we usually manage the pit tent on our own but a bit windy today,I had visions of it taking off as soon as we unsecured it.Thanks also to Taz and Mankey for their help in packing up. We all had a fabulous day at t' races thank you. Loony & Pete seemed to enjoy standing about in the fire up lane, looking important. Thanks for sorting their crew passes for them. ;) Very tired, sunburnt & feeling like we've been shotblasted by the wind & ensuing dust storm, so a full photo gallery online tomorrow. Many thanks to the owner, who's name we didn't catch, who'd only slowed down so I could take his photo -& ended up being persuaded to take Taz for a spin around the campsite, (O.K, he didn't take much persuading). The Jet car was truly awesome to watch, but crunching on grit filled coffee was not so much fun. We flitted about from the stands watching the racing, to the car park and round to the pits. Lots to see. Photos are great but you can't capture the truly wonderful sounds of all the muscly engines and the heat from the jet car's flame.
