is there a legal distance between the back wheel on a trike,axle length....cheers.....Willy

I don't think there is Willy, but if the wheels are very close together DVLA class them as a single wheel & your trike will become a motorcycle.
Can't find the distance in question, but these Piaggio MP3 scooters are 745mm wide & are classed as normal 2 wheeled scooters.
