Leaves Ace Cafe at 10:00 ish for Brighton  on Sunday 9th Sept' but me and my mates leave sunny Hampshire at 8:30 to beat the rush and arrive via Ditchling Beacon ( the scenic route) and miss the queues through the town.
Should be much better this year without the Tuttles again but parking walla's are a bit pushy and enjoy their whistles a little too much.

Not sure I've ever tasted lobster actually. More a fish n chip man meself.
The donuts are starting to go a bit sticky now. Really not the same if they're not eaten fresh. Maybe this enforced diet, (Tonsillitis means I haven't been able to eat more than half a bowl of soup for the past week & a half), is a good excuse to detox my lifestyle!

Dunno, when I had glandular fever i lost loads of weight and got almost slim! :o But it was only because i couldnt eat properly for weeks and for a few days couldnt drink and nearly fond myself in hospital! Bit extreme for a detox though!

I,m not riding Lil Evel, probably My 1960 A10 Gold Flash, that I have owned 32 years and nearly finished repairing after it's little fall off the trailer in May.

I take lovely piccies but cannot get them on the internet YET! Broadband in a few weeks.

Two bikes on a trailer to show off at a rally before going on night duty and one strap failed 200mts from the event. Oh well lesson learnt, don't go to rallies just for rides.

6am start, rendezvous at Mr Giants house for 8.30am departure for Brighton, the trip took us down mostly bi - roads to Madeira Drive Brighton what a suprise ??? sooooooo many bikes. First stop tea and a pasty then off to look at the bikes and the stalls, Janie and myself paired off and just kept walking and snapping all day and still never saw all there was to see,what a great day.

Hi Mr Giant just a word to say thank you for your escorted trip and road map, just in case we got lost, to Brighton much appreciated. On our return, Janie and myself could not remember all those lanes, so we took the A27 to Portsmouth then up the A3 to Aldershot, would like to thank you again for the overwhelming day we had. :o ;D ;D ;D

Looks like you really enjoyed yourselves! Bikes all make it there & back without incident?

Well no major incidents, but Janies bike did play up a bit, on the way back Janie insisted when we reached the A3 she go her way and i go mine(determined woman >:() i was having none of that ;D so we both carried on back to Janies place all was well. ;D ;D ;D

Yes we had an amazing day, and didn't see it all either.  I'm very grateful for Rick following me home, I didn't mean to sound unappreciative I just thought it was a long way out for him, but on chatting to him earlier, and in the light of whats happened to Marta, bless her, I can see why Rick continued back to Aldershot.

Believe it or not we actually chatted in some length to a guy with a scooter that he'd had since 1962, he was funny, and he did try to "welcome me to the dark side", but thankfully rock n roll is in the blood and I wasn't tempted.
