Title: Re: Wessex Classic car show 16th Sept 2007 Post by: BikerGran on September 20, 2007, 08:51:50 PM Love it or loath it?
Title: Re: Wessex Classic car show 16th Sept 2007 Post by: BikerGran on September 20, 2007, 08:53:26 PM I loved this Pop - only it's an Anglia like my first car. Completely original as far as I could see! (oh - apart from the aftermarket indicators!)
Title: Re: Wessex Classic car show 16th Sept 2007 Post by: BikerGran on September 20, 2007, 08:55:49 PM And I was quite impressed by the flying!
Title: Re: Wessex Classic car show 16th Sept 2007 Post by: Manky Monkey on September 20, 2007, 09:58:05 PM What was flying Bobbi?
The Pop's the same green I plan to do mine in. Got a nice vintage feel to it I think. Can't remember the name of the purple cruiser, but it's one of Andy Saunders' old creations, found in a sad state of repair & given a complete make-over. I like it, but it's too blingy for me to want to own it. :) Title: Re: Wessex Classic car show 16th Sept 2007 Post by: BikerGran on September 20, 2007, 10:11:42 PM Dunno - what you reckon? V-bomber?
Title: Re: Wessex Classic car show 16th Sept 2007 Post by: BikerGran on September 20, 2007, 10:12:33 PM It was about 3 ft long.
Title: Re: Wessex Classic car show 16th Sept 2007 Post by: Manky Monkey on September 20, 2007, 10:19:54 PM Paper aeroplane.
I thought that Pop/Anglia had opening quarter lights for a minute. Must be aftermarket wind deflectors. You think it'd go fast enough to need them? Title: Re: Wessex Classic car show 16th Sept 2007 Post by: BikerGran on September 20, 2007, 10:35:23 PM Very useful when it was raining and you had to stick your hand out the window cos the trafficator didn't go up! You really neede to have a passenger to bang the inside of the door pillar when they stuck!
Title: Re: Wessex Classic car show 16th Sept 2007 Post by: Manky Monkey on September 20, 2007, 10:38:18 PM Been looking at trafficators on autojumble stalls & wondering about fitting them on the Pop, but at 75 quid a pair I might not. Wonder how many modern drivers would spot them in use.
Title: Re: Wessex Classic car show 16th Sept 2007 Post by: BikerGran on September 20, 2007, 10:44:38 PM Well they often don't spot a whole bike................ :-\
