Title: Re: paging monkey Post by: yoda on September 22, 2005, 10:47:34 AM just out of curiosity
what would people prefer a cheap shirt, or pay more for a quality shirt that wil last longer?? Title: Re: paging monkey Post by: Manky Monkey on September 22, 2005, 10:59:51 AM So that's a dozen for Jonny & a dozen for Critch.
Had a look at the shirts my local printer uses today, (printed sample is promised for tomorrow). T shirts are made by "Action Shirts" who I've never heard of, but they look fine. Button up shirts are quite thick cotton. Again, looked fine to my untrained eye. Nervously awaiting some idea of price! T shirts printed. Work shirts embroidered. Any suggestions on how many I should order of each type & what sizes? Girly T shirts also available. Obviously they'll be cheaper the more I order but I'll have to fund them from my own pocket so can't buy hundreds. Couple of dozen? Would they sell? Will post a photo & price as soon as I have it. Title: Re: paging monkey Post by: yoda on September 22, 2005, 11:12:17 AM weel if you can get pre orders, and get money sent down first it might sve you having to fork out some
Yoda Title: Re: paging monkey Post by: Manky Monkey on September 22, 2005, 11:24:37 AM Yeah, not looking to make a profit, just to break even really, to try & keep the price down.
Title: Re: paging monkey Post by: flap on September 22, 2005, 08:08:54 PM How about kids sizes?
Title: Re: paging monkey Post by: critch on September 22, 2005, 09:43:04 PM So that's a dozen for Jonny & a dozen for Critch. :o :o just the one for me farty wanted 40 ;) Title: Re: paging monkey Post by: Manky Monkey on September 23, 2005, 09:07:40 AM O.K, one dozen for you, forty dozen for Jonny.
Don't know about kids' sizes. What sizes do kids come in? Will hopefully be seeing the T shirt guy today to look at the sample. Any idea on how many of each size I should order? Are we going for medium & large? Large & fat gits? Fat gits & beached whales? Title: Re: paging monkey Post by: yoda on September 23, 2005, 09:41:47 AM XL shirt for me mate, do they come in a choice of shirt colours??
Yoda Title: Re: paging monkey Post by: Manky Monkey on September 23, 2005, 11:03:56 AM What did you have in mind? Fuscia pink? Not sure if I can specify two or three of this colour, one of that, six of that etc. Might be just Ford colours -anything you like as long as it's black, but I'll ask.
So what sizes then? Need to look like I know what I'm talking about when I go in there! I'm guessing most blokies will go for large or XL. A few medium girlies? Couple of kids' ones. Same number of button up shirts as Ts or less you think? Title: Re: paging monkey Post by: yoda on September 23, 2005, 01:30:35 PM here a few ideas of the patch colour against
Black Denim Blue Khaki Olive . Yoda Title: Re: paging monkey Post by: yoda on September 23, 2005, 01:31:12 PM and a copy of the patch with the other monkey head
.. .. .. Title: Re: paging monkey Post by: Manky Monkey on September 23, 2005, 02:08:23 PM Yeah, patch looks better with that head I think. Ties in nicely with the site too. Is it possible to do the logo as just black outlines -single colour on Army sand brown colour shirt?
Title: Re: paging monkey Post by: yoda on September 23, 2005, 03:18:23 PM here are some tshirts

Title: Re: paging monkey Post by: trikerpete on September 24, 2005, 02:13:16 PM You're talking a different language mate. Don't mean nuffink to me. So is anyone going to tell me what style & size they actually want then? Hope someone's going to buy some after all this! Yo Dude, just got back from few days on the island and found that you are thinking about t shirts. what about hoodies? winter on the way, sshhhhhh, its a way off yet :) got any xxl, you know im a "big boy" any plans for a trike picture on the back? and something (flaming spanners??) on the sleeves??? take care, catch ya later :) Title: Re: paging monkey Post by: Manky Monkey on September 24, 2005, 06:54:55 PM Sheesh!
What do you people want -blood?! You'll get what you're given! No hoodies at the moment mate but maybe for next season! I've got to pay up front for whatever I order so don't want to pay out a fortune & get stuck with stuff I can't sell. Prices quoted here are as I'm being charged -no profit. So it's as cheap as I can get it. Will have to add a quid on top for postage but that's all. Have wondered about putting a few on Ebay but wouldn't know how! Anybody down your way be interested in them? Should have full printed & embroidered samples early next week so will post piccies then. Title: Re: paging monkey Post by: critch on September 27, 2005, 10:53:09 AM ill have a tee in extra large and possibly a button up shirt as well
