Title: Byz's XS1100. Post by: Manky Monkey on August 06, 2007, 01:25:49 PM Janie gave me a bunch of photos on a disc yesterday. Among them were some snaps of ByzMax's XS1100 Yam project. Hoping he'll let us feature it here when it's done. A beautifully built machine.
It's not that big by the way, Janie's only 3 foot 6. Title: Re: Byz's XS1100. Post by: ByzMax on August 06, 2007, 04:26:48 PM Ooh forgot to post this!
Was a couple of weeks back and I was just near the workshop and I see this light blue Consul doing a U turn in the road in front of me! T'was Dave and Janie on a mercy mission to a friend that happens to live around the corner from my workshop! Stopped and said hello and they popped in for a cuppa when Dave had applied his mind to fixing the gear selector on a Victor! Was a nice interlude to an otherwise hellish day that I was having! You will get the write up Manky! Title: Re: Byz's XS1100. Post by: Manky Monkey on August 06, 2007, 04:44:19 PM Thanks Byz. :)

Title: Re: Byz's XS1100. Post by: Manky Monkey on August 06, 2007, 09:14:09 PM Yeah, so do I. Very stylish.
Belongs to an aquaintance of Dave & Janie -Dave's travelled from Aldershot to Windsor no less than 3 times now to try & fix the gearbox problem, so maybe not his favourite car. I've asked Janie if she could come up with some words so we could do a small feature for the Motors section. Mentioning that here will put unfair pressure on her to do so -hopefully. And by the way Byzs XS1100 is huuuuge. I couldn't get over the size of the petrol tank. You could do Lands End to John O'Groats on that without stopping once!!! Title: Re: Byz's XS1100. Post by: Manky Monkey on August 07, 2007, 07:49:29 PM .
